PS VITA MGS HD COLLECTION SUBSISTENCE CHEATS MANUAL
The only manual aside from the original one that I know of that has the tap code chart and codec picture is the European PS Vita MGS HD Collection manual. At the time of MGS3: Subsistence's release, Konami put up the needed information on it website, but that has long since been taken down. The re-releases on MGS3: Subsistence and MGS HD and Legacy Collections do not include this information, with one exception. This was common in PC games of the time, though this is more elaborate (it's usually a case of looking up a letter in a certain part of the manual). It also has a picture of a codec call, which you are supposed to use at one point to get a new frequency for Campbell. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, for anti-piracy purposes, has a tap code chart in its manual. TL DR: feeling guilty because I look for guidance online to traverse the game since I don't have the manuals. I'm feeling guilty of looking for this kind of guidance in my gameplay because I believe it is cheating, but does having the game manual is really fundamental to traverse the game? Not gonna lie, I looked for guidance in a YouTube video. So far, it's a much better experience, but to find a frequency I had to use a tap code, which was only available on the game manual. Now, I'm currently playing 'MG2: Solid Snake'. Couldn't know this without looking guidance online, don't know if the time of release, its manual provided useful hints.

Months ago, I passed MG1 and it was a real shady game, specially in the parts on how to get the Bomb Suit, or know which walls to bomb. I'm doing it on my MGS Legacy Collection for PS3.
